Our Lord,
You accompany every person on their path, You stand by us in joys and hardships and through the Holy Spirit you grant us many gifts. One of them is the gift of music, which we experience especially in the beautiful basilica of St James in Prague, Old Town. Generations have come here to pray and give thanks, listening to the sound of the great St James’ organ, and through the beautiful sound of music you give us joy and we can feel your closeness.
And so, at the intercession of the patron saint of the basilica of St James, Your beloved mother Virgin Mary and the patron saint of musicians St. Cecilia, we ask for a blessing for the ongoing collection for the reconstruction of the great St James’ organ. Bless all contributors, who generously help to collect means for its realization and thus preserving one of the jewels of the Basilica of St. James for future generations.
